Dana D. Berry is a nationally recognized spiritual leader, visionary, and community builder with over 30 years of ministry experience. She is a woman marked by divine assignment and intentional impact—serving as a wife, mother of eight, midwife of purpose, certified empowerment coach, author, entrepreneur, intercessor, and trusted voice across faith-based and professional platforms.
As the CEO and founder of Dana Berry Ministries, she leads with prophetic insight and apostolic precision, helping individuals, ministries, and teams birth their God-ordained assignments through prayer, teaching, and mentorship. Known for curating atmospheres where heaven touches earth, Pastor Dana is the host and creator of The Birthing Room, a nationwide movement and annual conference that ignites people to manifest what they’ve been carrying spiritually.
A sought-after speaker, Pastor Dana has appeared on The Word Network, TCT, 910AM Superstation, and other national media outlets. She is also the creator of Releasing Heaven Live—a powerful collection of live intercessory recordings—and has released several worship and prayer projects available on all digital platforms. With her husband, Craig Mizell—affectionately known as “Pastor Craig”—they co-lead impactful prayer initiatives and oversee Mizell Consulting Agency, where they assist churches, businesses, and individuals with project management, administration, music, and more.
Dana is an ordained minister and serves as Associate Pastor at New Life Covenant Southeast Church in Chicago, under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah, where she leads Intercessors in Training, a division of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry (IPM). She is also the State Director of Intercessory Prayer for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International in Michigan, serving under State Bishop DeVay Myatt, Sr., and equipping churches across the region to develop thriving houses of prayer.
Dana holds a degree in Business Management and brings over two decades of experience in the educational sector, specializing in project planning, training, administration, and leadership development. Her work integrates spiritual wisdom and marketplace strategy to help others steward both calling and character with excellence.
She is the author of the prayer journal Commanding Your Morning and the forthcoming prayer manual Lord, Teach Us to Pray. Her ministry to women also includes the impactful Divorced Moms Retreat—an annual sacred space for restoration, sisterhood, and spiritual recalibration.
